Case study: Elisha
Prayer Points
* Give Him thanks
* This is the second day of this special program, double my miracle today
Decree: Somebody will have a divine visitation today
1. Elisha had a divine visitor. The visitor is a special one, someone that the Almighty’ God sent to him
When God want to visit a man . He does it in a surprise manner , example- Moses- Exodus 3:1-5, Gideon-Judges 6:11-12. God knows your address
Decree: The visitor of joy that is coming your way will not miss his/her way
1 Samuel 16:11-13, it doesn’t matter where you are seated tonight, He will view on you
Acts 10:34
Decree: If Moses, Gideon etc got a divine visitor, you will get your own today
Prayer: Father! In Your own miraculously way, please send me a divine visitor today
2. . He got a divine touch, 1 Kings18:36-39, Elijah threw his mantle on Elisha
2 Kings 1:9-12, whenever God touches a man he gets a divine touch
Deuteronomy 34:9, Mark10:56-52
Decree: Receive what you want today
Prayer: Father! Give me a divine touch today
3. From that day a door was closed and another opened, he was no longer a farmer
Decree: God is about to open a new door for you!
Others who also had same experience are; Moses- Exodus 3,4:1-20 Israelite – Exodus 14:1-28, Peter- Luke 5:1-11
Exodus 14:1-28,
Prayer: Father! Open new doors unto me, shut every door you have to shut in my life in Jesus name
4. He began his journey into his destiny.
For every man, God has a purpose
Jeremiah 1:4-5, 29:11
Destiny is the purpose of God for your life
Judges 6:1-16 (Gideon)
When God is interested in a man, He has a way of blocking anything that will obstruct the man’s destiny
Prayer: Father! Let me begin my journey into my destiny today in Jesus name
5. From that day onward , Elisha had a change of level.
He woke up a farmer, went to bed a potential prophet
A change of level can happen in less than 24hrs
Examples: John 5:2-9, 2 Kings 4:1-7, Exodus 12:30-36
Father! My levels must change this year: physically, financially, materially, spiritually in Jesus name
But nothing goes for nothing, for all our prayers to be answered, just like Elisha;
I. Be ready for total surrender, Elisha surrendered all and began to follow Elijah
Psalm 31:15
II. We must be ready to serve God and His servant wholeheartedly
Mathew 10:31
III. We must be willing to join the army of the Lord.
Acts 1:8, we must become active members of the army of the Lord by going out to win souls, doing follow up etc.
In joining the army of the Lord, the first step is to surrender your life to Jesus
Prayer for offering:
Father! In the mighty name of Jesus, with this offering, I shut the doors of poverty forever and I open the doors to prosperity.
