Welcome Message by Pastor E. A. Adeboye » 61ST RCCG ANNUAL CONVENTION »

Pastor Adeboye convention 2013Dearly beloved Brethren,
It is with great joy in the holy Glory that we welcome you to 61st Convention with the theme: Jesus. The person and work of Jesus is central to Christianity. His birth marked the turning point in history. An encounter with Him in this convention will surely mark a significant turning point in our lives.

Jesus is the link to answered prayers. He said whatever we ask in His name, He will give it to us (John 14:13). Therefore, spend quality time in prayers during this convention, the only genuine way to salvation is through Jesus (John 14:6; Act 4:12). He will show you the way out of trouble; open the door of breakthrough to you; and lead you into eternal bliss. All you need do is ensure you surrender your life to Him.

RCCG convention 2013 bannerJesus is called “Wonderful” (Isaiah9:6) which implies that He is full of wonders and does wonders. He has done many wonders before like turning water to wine (John 2:1-10) feeding 5,000 people with only five loaves of bread and two fishes (Mathew 14:15-21). This convention is going to be loaded with signs and wonders from the beginning to the end. Release your faith and you will be a recipient of His wonders. Read more

IMMANUEL by Pastor E.A. Adeboye at Festival Of Life Manchester, UK (Prayer Points Included)

RCCG FOL Manchester July 2013Bible Text: Matthew 1:22-23
Emmanuel means GOD WITH US. ‘Us’ simply means you and I. Tonight we will focus on ‘God’ and ‘with’.

Who is God? If you go through the scriptures you find out several things about God.

1) God is the creator (Genesis 1:1, John 1:1,3). If He is the creator, it means the ability to recreate. In John 9:1-7, Jesus healed a man who was born blind. If there is a part of your body doctors have confirmed dead, tonight it will be recreated in Jesus name. Amen

He is also the creator of destinies! He can recreate destinies. For anyone destined for tragedy, the Almighty God will change destiny in Jesus name! Amen.

2) According to Psalm 24:1, God is the possessor of all. Because God is the possessor of all things, He can supply all your needs (phil4:19) No matter how heavy your debt is, before the end of the year, you will be debt free in Jesus name. Amen!

THAT I MAY KNOW HIM: Summary of Pastor Adeboye’s Message on Wednesday, August 8, 2012

Updates from the 60th Annual RCCG Convention.  Come Up Higher

Topic: THAT I MAY KNOW HIM

Text: Philippians 3 v 7- 11

Paul said I want to know Him. Knowledge is power and ignorance is destruction. The word of God says my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. When Paul who is an apostle says he wants to know Jesus, where do you stand?

There are many aspects to the life and ministry of our Lord Jesus Christ; there is the aspect of Him as the Saviour, there is the aspect of Him as the Healer and there is the aspect of Him as the Deliverer.

What aspect of Him did Paul wants to know? I think he is interested in the aspect of Jesus Christ as the Truth. He wanted to know more about the truth.

So we will be talking about the truth here tonight, even though the truth can be bitter.

There are three levels of truths:

First. The basic truth, Secondary truth and thirdly a little bit of the higher truth.

Basic truth: Nothing goes for nothing.

The bible tells us clearly that salvation is free, but salvation is free only because someone pays for it 1 John 1 v 7.

Divine healing is free; but someone paid the price.

Nothing goes for nothing, that is the pure basic truth. It is possible never to be sick again, in the year of jubilee.

You can receive your healing and never be sick again. It is possible to enjoy prosperity for the rest of your life according to Deuteronomy 28 v 11 – 12.

Secondary truth: There are two powerful forces controlling life; one is called curse, the other is called blessing.

They both determine what happen to a man.

What is cause? a curse is an invitation to all forces to work against someone Genesis 29 v 1 4.

When someone who is under a curse, everything he touches fails and curse flows down like a river.

If it is pronounced on one man, God have mercy on the children. You can ask the people of Jericho 2 kings 2 v 19.

The other force is Blessing; a blessing is a summon to all forces to support somebody and make sure he succeeds.

When somebody is blessed, every door he knocks opens.

In Genesis 27: 26- 29 there you see Isaac blessing Jacob. When someone is blessed nobody can stop him, a blessing can pick the younger and make him superior to the older Genesis 28: 1- 13, Deuteronomy 33 v 17.

When you are blessed, enemy that comes before you will fall before you.

You will be head and not tail. If there is anything you need from your parent before they die, is their blessings: because Money can finish but blessings open doors.

–

Higher level truth: The year jubilee is the year of release, it is the year of restitution but we want to hear about healing, power, prosperity but not restitution.

Whatever you get that is not yours must be restored. Galatians 6 v 7 whatever you sow you shall reap.

2Coritians 5 v 6, Matthew 13 v 3 -9. If you sow wind you will reap whirlwind.

The year of jubilee does not mean when you sow you won’t reap.   2 Samuel v 1-12. It is only one way to avoid evil that you have planted and that is if you go to where you plant it and uproot it.

If you think that seed you sow is gone, then you don’t even know the basics law of agriculture. That which you sow is waiting in the future unless you can restitute your way 2 Corinthians 11 v 22 – 25.

I will tell you this story, several years ago around 1961, I was a teacher in a particular village, there was a man who is very though, when you are passing in front of his house you must be careful, and he has only one daughter.

One day six boys raped his daughter till she fainted, when he came they told him what happened. People were waiting for him to act. He asked if his daughter was alive, they said the girl was alive, what will he do about it, he said nothing. He said he is only reaping what he sowed, that when he was young he raped a girl.

Do you have any money you stole, or maneuver return it back otherwise it will destroy your good works.

If you think because nobody sees you, the evil will be forgotten, you are deceiving yourself.

There is something that is not yours that is in your possession, go and restitute to enjoy the year of jubilee

You took somebody else wife and brought it in your life Genesis12 v 11-20.

Many of us think that we can treat restitution as something trivial, it is not so. Read Mal 3 v 3 – 10

The Almighty God is a merciful God, God is supreme and He will do what He said He would do provided you follow His principle. Blessings can be reversed, I can show you several people who got blessed and then they forgot God and the blessing became a curse.

Come up higher!

Anyone who wants to rise must get rid of weight Heb 12 v 1. Sin is a weight, get rid of it and restitute

RCCG General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, disowns hoax colour SMS

Pastor Enoch Adeboye

Pastor Enoch Adeboye

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, on Thursday disowned text messages advising people not to wear red, blue, pink or purple.

In a Facebook post, Adeboye urged people to disregard the messages as they did not emanate from either him or the church.
A hoax message had circulated widely, claiming that Adeboye warned Nigerians against putting on any attire in these colours on Thursday.

But, the denial said the cleric never said any such thing.

It reads, “Please inform all your friends and family members that I, Pastor E.A. Adeboye, did not send any message out informing you not to wear a particular colour and do not have any issues with whatever colour. “No message stating you should not wear a particular color was ever authorized by The Redemption Camp or my office. Please be mindful and careful of erroneous messages.

“If you want a true change in your life be at The Redemption Camp, This Thursday at7 pm, Friday at 7 pm and Saturday at 7 pm. To ensure no one uses your blood for anything.”

The church began a weeklong programme marking its 60th anniversary on Monday.

President Jonathan congratulates Pastor Enoch Adeboye on the occasion of his 70th birthday

Dr. Enoch Adejare Adeboye

General Overseer,

Redeemed Christian Church of God,

Kilometre 46, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway,

Ogun State

Your Grace,

BIRTHDAY GREETINGS

As you attain the highly symbolic landmark age of three-score-and-ten on Friday, March 2nd 2012, it is with profound joy that I write on behalf of my family, the Government and people of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and on my own behalf, to express very warm felicitations to you.

You have lived a truly inspirational and inspiring life of dedicated service in the vineyard of the Lord. Rising above the limitations of a background of deprivation to thrive in academics before going into full time ministry, the phenomenal growth of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, of which you are the General Overseer, clearly testifies to God’s hand upon your life and your productive leadership qualities.

In these critical times in Nigeria’s developmental history, we need, more than ever before, to seek the face of the Lord. Your readiness at all times to offer spiritual and prayerful support to the nation’s leadership at all levels deserves special commendation.

As your celebrate this historic day with your nuclear family, your numerous children-in the-Lord, friends and well-wishers, I would like to paraphrase Apostle Paul in his second letter to Timothy by praying that Almighty God continues to empower you to successfully fight the good fight, fruitfully run the course, and continue to keep the faith, until that day when you shall receive the crown of righteousness laid up for you.

Happy Birthday!

Yours Sincerely

Goodluck Ebele Jonathan

Pastor Sam Adeyemi Speaks On Fuel Subsidy Removal #occupynigeria

As the battle line is drawn between the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Trade Union Congress (TUC) and other pressure groups and the Federal Government of Nigeria over the recent fuel subsidy removal, the Senior Pastor of Daystar Christian Centre, Pastor Sam Adeyemi has asked the Federal Government of Nigeria to put the needed infrastructures in place before removal of the subsidy.

Pastor Sam gave this admonition yesterday (8th January 2011) during the church service adding that the level of dishonesty and corruption in our nation particularly among the elite and government officials has plunged us into this mess.

“If they were honest, may be subsidy would not cost more than N200-N300billion annually. They should attack the corruption in the oil sector from the licensing of importers by PPPRA to the recording of the figures for imported fuel. There are dishonest people in government, ministries and agencies who inflate contract figures ten times and approve non-existent projects for payment. They will consume the money saved from subsidy”. He said the price of fuel per little should be reversed back to N65.

Adeyemi urged the President Goodluck Jonathan to wage war against the corruption in the oil sector and other sectors. He said massive construction of at least two new refineries’ should begin immediately. His words: “The war on corruption in the oil sector should begin immediately. Construction of one large or two medium – sized refineries that will be ready in two years should begin immediately. The president should ensure that those who falsify figures through importation process are named, shamed and prosecuted. Inefficiency should be stamped out of existing refineries immediately so they can produce more fuel. Phased withdrawal of subsidy should begin when new refineries come into operation in about two years. Private refineries will spring up when we achieve full deregulation.

He stressed that, “as to the claim that PMS is used only by the middle class, it shows the disconnect between the elite in government and the common man. The “I-better-pass-my-neighbor” and small power generating sets used in millions of homes and small businesses use petrol. So do most of the taxis and buses that ferry the masses. Increase in fuel price by over 100% has had a direct and instant impact on the lives of most Nigerians”.

Pastor Adeyemi however urged the citizens not to play into the script written by the devil. ‘We need to pray for our country more than ever before. Someone might wonder ‘pray? No. This is the time to protest. This is an acceptable point of view because as citizens we have the right to speak-out. However, I see two scripts playing out in our country presently; one written by God and the other written by satan. And people are acting out the scripts; especially satan’s script without knowing, that is why we need to pray and be very sensitive at this point in time just to be sure we are acting out God’s script because that will be the best for the country”.

He asked Nigerians to pray for God to unravel those behind the Boko Haram attacks.

OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL: GOD’S USE, NO DISCRIMINATION Wednesday, February 2, 2011

Bible in A Year: Neh 4-6

MEMORIZE: “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.” (Gal 3:28)

READ: Galatians 3:26-29

Apart from using the challenged, children and the aged, God does not follow any particular order in choosing who to use in families. He may choose to either use the firstborn or the last born. Samuel was the firstborn of Hannah. Our Lord Jesus Christ was the firstborn of the family of Joseph. Both were mightily used of God. One way to secure the future of your firstborn is to ensure he or she knows Christ and is actively engaged in serving Him. God has special interest in firstborns: so also has satan. Any firstborn that is not engaged in glorifying God will definitely be occupied by the devil. Are you a firstborn? Are you serving the Lord with all your heart? Read more
