RCCG 2014 HOLY GHOST CONGRESSTOPIC: The Great Shepherd

PREAMBLE:

“Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is well-pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.“ Heb. 13:20-21

We are living in a generation when “thieves” and “robbers” who have no values for human lives are dominating affairs of men. Badly affected are the sheep – the innocent ones – whose greatness and successes have been apparently hijacked with no hope in sight. However, our anchor is one of the prophecies sent to us by the Great Shepherd at the beginning of this year through our Father-the-Lord, Daddy GO, that ‘the equation at the beginning of the year will be different from equation at the end.’

“I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.” John 10:11.

As we pray this season, we are blessed, we are favoured. The Great Shepherd is in love with us. “Through the blood of the everlasting covenant“, we are secured and settled. There will be great settlement of our spiritual lives, families, finances, careers, politics, religious crisis and businesses. Our Nations shall be great. And, as an individual, we shall be great.

July 2014 RCCG Covenant Fasting and Prayer Guide

RCCG_LOGO.pngPREAMBLE

Progress is considered made when a distance is covered on a journey that starts from a point and ends at another point. A journey that starts and ends back at the same spot where it took off originally is regarded as no work done. This happens when the Holy Ghost is left out of one’s journey in life and it depicts the Word of God to the Israelites through the mouth of Moses in Deuteronomy 1:6-8, that positive move is necessary to attain the desired state: “The Lord our God spoke to us in Horeb, saying: ‘You have dwelt long enough at this mountain. Turn and take your journey, and go to the mountain of the Amorites, to all the neighbouring places in the plain, in the mountain and in the low land…”

As we prepare for 2014 convention, the Holy Ghost Convention, let us also take our time to pray for our Nations and, in particular, ask for divine assistance on the issue of insurgencies that Nigeria is finding hard to subdue.

RCCG December 2013 Covenant Prayer and Fasting

RCCG December 2013 Covenant Prayer and FastingThou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.“ (Psalms 23:5)

Nature around us and the testimonies of mankind attest to the fact that whatever God does is done in abundance. According to John 10.10, when God gives life, He gives it abundantly. In 2 Chronicles 32:29, we are informed that when God blesses a man, He releases it in abundance. Our God, as pointed out in Psalms 37:11, protects His own people with abundance of peace. When He heals His people, as we are told in Jeremiah 33:6, His healings flow in abundance. His mercy also flows like a river in an abundant way, as recorded in 1 Peter. 1:3.

David experienced this overflow.  He testified by saying that his “….cup runneth over.”  And so, today, we are highly encouraged that, as we come to God’s presence in prayers for our own OVERFLOW, this God of abundance from whom all blessings flow will according to Ephesians 3:20 “…do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think….” during this December 2013 Holy Ghost Congress.
