Memorise: “And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” (Joshua 24:15).

God has never forced His will on man. He can only encourage you to follow that path that will enhance your success, productivity and fulfilment. You have the right to choose which way you are to follow, either the right or the left. In fact, some may chose stagnation just like the children of israel did when they desired to return to Egypt because of their love for the cucumber, garlic and onions.
You are a direct product of the decisions you made yesterday. Whether positive or negative, you must have a result for every step you take. This is the reason why you can’t afford to choose wrongly. You must consciously look through your plan to be sure you are not on the wrong path.
Your choices will always speak. The results that you get will announce all that you have done in your secret heart. At the level of results, the whole world will come to the knowledge of all you have done either with yourself or with the Lord.
Is your choice in line with the counsel of God for your life? The Bible says: “There are many devices in a man’s heart; nevertheless the counsel of the LORD, that shall stand.” (Proverbs 19:21). This scripture is only applicable to those who are set to obey the Lord. It’s for the strong hearted who will patiently consider what God is saying concerning their present situation.
The Word of God can never lead you astray. If you will drop the dictates of your flesh, the lust of your eyes and refrain from pride, you will have unlimited access to the abundant grace made available by God. He’s speaking to you right now. He says choose life and live! Embrace His truth and be free from the deceit of men.
Beloved, the choice is yours. It’s either God’s choice or self-choice. May you not be led in error in Jesus name.
Father, open my eyes of understanding that I may discover Your choice for my life. Don’t ever allow me to choose to my own damnation.
