New Glory Devotional: EXCEEDING ABUNDANTLY – Saturday, September 29, 2012

By Pastor Ayo Agbelusi

Memorise: “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,” (Ephesians 3:20).

Read: Ephesians 3:20-21

God is rich is all goodness and mercy. He’s not holding any of His blessings back from His children. For as many that call on Him will be found of Him. You can only live in lack if you are blind to the resources available to you in the redemption.

The essence of redemption is elevation and reduction. You are initially on ground zero of sin and iniquity which culminated in total poverty, sickness and gross misfortune. The coming of our Lord Jesus Christ terminated the age of sorrow, sin, sickness and poverty and shame. We came into salvation by His precious blood and we gladly access the treasures of heaven through His blood that was shed for our sakes. Jesus is come that you may have life and have it more abundantly, John 10:10

Beloved, everything you need is already provided. God didn’t create you into lack and poverty. His thoughts towards you are for peace to bring you to the expected end. Jer.29:11.

Your needs will be supplied according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. You have access to all that is God’s.

The key to receiving these abundant blessings is faith. “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” (Hebrews 11:6). Diligence in faith is a major requirement for the delivery of your expected miracles. You can’t get best of God if you are not committed to His course. You can’t be committed without being diligent. Stop watching what you don’t want. Your Father is rich in all things. Move closer to Him in prayers and holiness with strong faith. Trust in your sickle and harvest your desired joy, breakthrough, success, marital success and unlimited prosperity.

“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,” (Ephesians 3:20).

There’s a power working abundance in you. Don’t waste it. Make haste to utilise it. Yield yourself completely to God and enjoy all the benefits made available in the redemption by your heavenly Father. You will never live your years on earth in lack in Jesus mighty name.

Key Point:

It’s not impossible to see a prince walking bare-footed. Your choice for prosperity and abundance can never materialise if you refuse to speak to your heavenly Father. Go ahead, talk to Him today and it shall be well with you!
